Cass County’s Drug Enforcement Team found a “one pot” style meth lab in a vehicle during a traffic stop Monday afternoon in the 500 block of Main Street in downtown Dowagiac. Acting on a tip about the meth lab, officers stopped the vehicle and found the lab and related components in the vehicle. Police also learned the male driver had two outstanding warrants on unrelated felony charges from Van Buren County. The man was arrested on several charges, including maintaining a meth lab, maintaining the lab within 500 feet of a business and producing hazardous waste, according to a police news release issued late Monday afternoon. The man was taken to Cass County Jail and will be arraigned in Cass County’s 4th District Court.
