Elkhart’s Street Crime Unit makes arrest in cocaine case

A man was arrested Thursday morning in the 1300 block of South Main Street after an investigation involving Indiana State Excise Police and Elkhart Police Department’s Street Crime Unit. D’Andre Lee Goodwin, 40, was arrested on three counts of dealing crack cocaine under 3 grams, each a Class B felony. Initially, police investigated the sales of alcohol and cocaine from Goodwin’s residence. Excise police seized approximately $2,500 in alcohol and issued two citations for visiting a common nuisance.
