Pregnant woman dies in LaGrange County crash

A LaGrange County woman and her unborn child are dead after an accident on Monday. Due to weather conditions, police say Heather Martin lost control of her car on US 20, near County Road 375 West. She slammed into the front of an oncoming semi. Family members say she was about 8 months pregnant. She and her unborn baby later died at the hospital. The driver of the semi was treated for abdominal pain. Police say Martin was not wearing a seat belt.
