Michigan State Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store in Van Buren County on Thursday evening and the driver of the getaway car the men fled in. Two men entered the Van Auken Lake Country Corner in the 42100 block of County Road 687 in Bangor Township and showed a gun while demanding money at about 7 p.m., the police news release and a Van Buren County dispatcher said. The cashier fled to a separate office and locked the door behind him. The two men, without obtaining any money, fled the store to a vehicle that had a third man waiting. The men fled westbound on County Road 376 in an older dark-colored, four-door vehicle with heavily tinted windows.
