KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — A Leesburg woman was arrested Monday after officers found meth in her vehicle at a traffic stop. Officers pulled over the woman, 49-year-old Lisa Sue Sand, for speeding on Armstrong Road just west of North Webster. Police say during the traffic stop, Sand and her passenger were acting very suspicious and allowed the officers to search her vehicle. During their search, police found individual bags of white powder and other straws and pipes associated with the use of methamphetamine. Sand admitted to officers that the substance was meth. The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was dispatched and they located eight individually packed bags of meth along with two glass pipes and two straws during the investigation. Sand is being held on a $5,000 bond. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Drug Task Force were also assisted at the scene by the North Webster Police Department.
