Jurors deliberating in teen’s murder trial

SOUTH BEND — Jurors are deliberating in the case of a teenager accused of murder. Closing arguments started about noon in the trial of 17-year-old Tevin Reaves. Jurors were handed the case just after 1 p.m. Reaves is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, felony murder and two counts of attempted robbery in the death of 33-year-old Courtney Rowell. The victim was shot several times in May 2009 outside his apartment in the 1000 block of Lincoln Way West.
