Truck fire spreads to South Bend house

A fire in a Ford F150 spread to the house it was parked at Saturday morning, causing damage, the South Bend Fire Department says in a news release. No one was hurt. Fire crews were dispatched at 5:05 a.m. to 834 S. 34th St. for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found the fully engulfed truck fire had spread to the one story, wood frame house. The blaze caused an estimated $10,000 in damage.
