SOUTH BEND — Police arrested a 16-year-old South Bend boy on suspicion of armed robbery, home invasion, burglary and resisting arrest after a home invasion on the southeast side Saturday afternoon. Police were called to a house in the 1900 block of East Altgeld Street about 4:50 p.m. Saturday. Several people in the house said two male teens broke down the front door, pointed shotguns at them and ordered them to lie on the floor. The two youths then started stealing video games, cell phones and money, the victims told officers. When officers arrived, the two teens were attempting to run away through the backyard.
