The girl was hit in the chest by a stray bullet while playing in her dad's front yard in the 700 block of Lavette Avenue. According to Lange, she underwent surgery a Kalamazoo hospital and is in critical condition. Williams is facing charges including two counts of attempted murder, two felony firearm counts and two counts of being in possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
