April 13, 2010|SBT24/7 News Report

Four people suffered minor injuries Monday following a chain-reaction collision on U.S. 31 in LaPaz. It all started about 8 a.m. when Yvette Hoober, 36, of Plymouth, failed to stop in time when traffic ahead of her came to a halt in the northbound lanes near Walnut Street. Hoover collided with a vehicle driven by Shashownna Cornelius, 20, of Plymouth, who in turn was pushed into the rear of a vehicle driven by Brenda Bergl, 46, of Fishers. Bergl's vehicle then collided into one driven by Tron Saxton, 39, of Plymouth. Hoober and her two children, ages 14 and 12, were treated and released from a Bremen hospital. Cornelius also was treated and released for minor injuries. The accident tied up traffic for about 45 minutes in the northbound lanes, according to Indiana State Police at the Bremen post.
