Leading polls, Snyder pushes hard in final weekend

October 31, 2010

CADILLAC, Mich. (AP) — Republican Rick Snyder is pushing hard on the last weekend of his race for Michigan governor.

Polls have shown the Ann Arbor businessman well ahead of Democratic Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero in the polls.

Snyder was campaigning Sunday in Cadillac, stopping in at Burke's Waterfront Restaurant.

He says he plans to keep working hard through election day on Tuesday.

Several polls by EPIC-MRA poll have shown Snyder leading Bernero by about 20 points.

Bernero campaigned Sunday at Detroit churches.
