Drug busts in Kosciusko County land 4 in jail

December 10, 2010

WARSAW  -  Four people were arrested Tuesday night after two meth labs were found in a mobile home park in Kosciusko County and another separate drug bust in Warsaw.

According to a release from the Kosciusko County Drug Task force, officers received an anonymous tip of a meth lab in the Hide Away Hills Mobile Home park just before 6 p.m. When the department’s sheriff arrived, he immediately noticed the strong odor association with meth production coming from outside a shed on a lot in the park.

Officers took 46-year-old Michael Steven Harris of Warsaw into custody and members of the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team secured and dismantled two active meth labs.

During the second drug arrest, officers executed a search warrant in the 900 block of East Winona Avenue in Warsaw at 6:30 p.m., after drug officers had previously made three separate purchases of cocaine.
