ELKHART — The City of Elkhart will have four sites for Christmas tree drop-off and curbside pick-up from Jan. 3 through Jan. 14.
Before tree disposal, residents are asked to remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights and wrappings. Barrels will be available at the drop-off sites for decoration disposal.
Trees can be placed at curbsides for pick-up on regular trash collection days.
The four drop-off sites are:
- West Side Middle School parking lot, 101 S. Nappanee St.
- North Side Middle School parking lot, near track on Bristol Street
- Riverview Elementary School softball diamond parking on Riverview Avenue, behind school at 2509 Wood St.
- Pierre Moran Pool parking lot, behind Pierre Moran School, 200 W. Lusher Ave.
