Kosciusko County police make multiple drug arrests

December 27, 2010|By Jason Overholt (joverholt@wsbt.com)

Police say there were eight drug arrests in Kosciusko County in the last few days.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Christmas Day, Warsaw police were following a tip when they found a “one pot” meth lab in a room at the Economy Inn. They arrested two Warsaw residents — 29-year-old Brandon James Karbach and 28-year-old Tiffany Page Anderson. Both had bonds set at $10,000.

Police say as officers were leaving the scene, they stopped a passing driver after identifying him as 43-year-old Larry Ellis Konkle of Warsaw, who was wanted on an outstanding drug warrant. He was arrested for dealing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. His bond is set at $50,000.

On Monday morning, police say they got a tip that individuals were trying to buy various amounts of pseudoephedrine at the Walgreens Pharmacy on East Center Street. Officers arrested five suspects found in a vehicle in the parking lot. They say there were items associated with meth production in the vehicle.
