A Paw Paw, Mich. teenager is in critical condition after a car accident Thursday afternoon, according to a nursing supervisor at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Abigal Robb, 17, was driving eastbound on M43 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic, according to a press release from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department.
Sean Kidd, 44, also of Paw Paw, was driving west and collided with Robb's vehicle, police said.
Robb was ejected from her vehicle after the crash and was taken to the hospital in Kalamazoo with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Kidd was also taken to Borgess Hospital, but his use of a seat belt significantly minimized the injuries he faced, police said.
