LOGANSPORT, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a body found in a northern Indiana river over the weekend is that of a man who had been missing for more than three months.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department said Monday an autopsy found no trauma-related injuries to 51-year-old Larry Lee Wilkinson Jr., but that the cause of his death hasn't yet been determined.
Wilkinson's body was found Saturday evening in a log jam along the Wabash River about seven miles east of Logansport. WLFI-TV reports Wilkinson had been missing from the Peru area since Dec. 4.
