ELKHART – A 15-year-old student was arrested Friday after school officials found a threat written on the wall of a bathroom stall at Concord Senior High School.

On Friday, a message was found that was written on a bathroom wall in the high school that read: “I’m going to bomb the school.” Officers began an investigation which led to the arrest of a female 15-year-old student who was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

This comes after news on Thursday that a threatening note was found inside a girl’s bathroom at Concord Junior High School. The note said that there would be a school shooting on Friday.

In response to the letter, police and school officials searched lockers, buildings, buses, staff and students entering the school Friday morning.

“We want to take necessary steps to maintain the safety of the schools while making every effort to prosecute those who make false reports of bomb threats,” said Undersheriff Sean Holmes.
