An accident in Elkhart County sent one person to the hospital Wednesday morning.
It happened around 10 a.m. on U.S. 20, just east of County Line Road. Police say the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal, struck a fence, two mail boxes, a street sign, snapped off a utility pole and rolled onto its top.
An ambulance took the driver to the hospital. The passenger is ok.
