GARY, Ind. (AP) — Officials say a Gary toddler has drowned in a residential pool.
The Lake County coroner's office says Nusani Taylor was pronounced dead at a hospital about 6:55 p.m.Thursday. Investigators say the 19-month-old boy was found floating in the backyard, above-ground pool about 5:30 p.m.
The coroner listed the cause of death as accidental drowning.
A police spokesman says the death remains under investigation.
