An early-morning police pursuit Monday resulted in two Marshall County police officers crashing their vehicles.

The chase began just before 12:30 a.m. on State Road 17 at Hillcrest. An officer tried to stop 32-year-old Domingo Robles of Monterey, say police, and he refused to pull over.

The pursuit continued through Marshall, Starke and Pulaski counties, according to a 911 dispatcher.

Officer Jordan Rans of the Plymouth Police Department and Officer Travis Oneal of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department both got into accidents.

Oneal had to be extricated from his car, but both officers only received minor bumps and bruises, according to police.

Other officers caught Robles in the 6300 block of 600E Monterey at about 12:50 a.m. He was booked into Marshall County Jail and faces charges for driving while suspended and resisting law enforcement.

Sunday night, a Goshen Police officer was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne after he crashed his car during a high-speed pursuit that involved two counties.
