JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Police in southern Indiana say a barber fired multiple gunshots at the shop's owner during after an argument over money the barber owed for space rental.
The fight spilled outside from the Exclusive Image Barber Salon in Jeffersonville on Tuesday. The shop owner told police he cut the barber's hand with scissors while trying to defend himself.
Detective Todd Hollis says 38-year-old Damiche Rogers chased the shop owner down the street and shot at him. Neither man was seriously hurt. The News and Tribune reports police retrieved a bullet from the side of a nearby house.
Rogers was jailed on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness and battery. Court records didn't list an attorney for him Wednesday.
