MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (AP) — A 16-year-old Merrillville youth has been charged as an adult arrested in connection with the murder of an 80-year-old Merrillville woman.
The Times of Munster said charges of murder and auto theft were lodged Monday against Royal Marshall in Lake Criminal Court.
The teen is accused of killing Anna Schulz on Wednesday at her home and taking the longtime Gary teacher's silver Cadillac DeVille. Police arrested him on Thursday at a relative's home in Gary.
