Divers in Kosciusko County recovered a body Sunday night from Wyland Lake.
The search on the lake, which is just northeast of North Webster in the tri-county Fish and Wildlife Area, started early Sunday afternoon when an empty boat was observed on the water with the motor still running.Around 8 p.m. a body was recovered from the water. The victim is believed to be a 40-year-old local man who went out fishing early Sunday morning. The victim's name is not being released until all his family is notified.
Sonar helped divers locate the body. An autopsy will be conducted.
It is not known what caused the man to fall into the water.
