South Bend Police assist in pursuit

SOUTH BEND -- South Bend Police assisted Indiana State Police Sunday in a morning pursuit that went for several miles.

According to a post commander with Indiana State Police, an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding at State Road 2 and Larrison Boulevard around 7 a.m. The car sped away and ISP pursued, calling in South Bend Police for backup.

The car finally stopped in the area of Lincoln Way and Olive. Four males ran from the vehicle and police were able to stop three of them.

As of now, police are still looking for the fourth male.
