Police say a 22-year-old Vandalia, Michigan man is dead after crashing into a tree.
The accident happened around 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Police say John Grice was southbound on Cassopolis Road from U.S. 12 when his vehicle left the roadway.
Alcohol and speed were a factor in the crash, say police. Grice did not have a seatbelt on.
