One person in a minivan received a reportedly minor injury in a collision with a South Bend school bus that was not carrying any students, according to police. This is the third crash this week in our area involving a school bus.
The accident happened around 2:30 at Huron and South Sheridan streets.
The minivan was eastbound on Huron and the bus was northbound on Sheridan when the crash happened, according to a WSBT reporter at the scene. There is no word on how the crash happened.
So far there has been a crash in our area involving a school bus every day this week. A Mishawaka woman was killed Monday morning when her SUV collided head-on with a P-H-M school bus on McKinley Highway. And twelve elementary school students were unhurt Tuesday morning when their school bus hit a car at Olive and Lathrop streets in South Bend.
