Double and triple semi trailers are banned on the Toll Road from 4 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday from the 1 mile marker (Illinois state line) to the 72 mile marker (South Bend/US 31 exit) because of high winds.
The ban does not affect any flatbed steel haulers.
Indiana State Police are re-evaluating tomorrow at 8 a.m., but right now the ban is set to be in place until noon Thursday.
