PLYMOUTH – Marshall County Coroner William Cleavenger says a 72-year-old Bourbon, Indiana woman died in the emergency room after her car was struck broadside by a truck late Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at U.S. 30 and King Road in Plymouth. Frances M. Long was wearing a seat belt, Cleavenger says, but she died from blunt force injuries at 5:48 p.m. in the emergency room of St. Joseph Hospital in Plymouth.
The accident is under investigation by the coroner and Marshall County police. Toxicology tests are pending, but Cleavenger says drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
