Hospital lockdown

WSBT spoke to a nursing supervisor at Memorial Hospital who confirmed the hospital is on lockdown. Even though there was a shooting nearby, the supervisor says that locking down on game day weekends is standard protocol. She said  there is often an increase in activity when big events take place in the city and it is for the safety of staff and patients to be on lockdown. They have implemented the lockdown throughout the day and currently are reporting no problems of security.
