SOUTH BEND – South Bend's Howard Park Ice Rink is not open yet because of the warm weather we’ve been having, but it may open later this week.
The rink near downtown was scheduled to open the day after Thanksgiving but last week's warm temperatures and rain prevented workers from making the ice.
The parks department hopes to do that this week, but it all depends on the weather.
