Police seeking suspects in killing of store owner

RIVER ROUGE, Mich. (AP) — Police in the Detroit suburb of River Rouge are seeking people involved in the fatal shooting of a convenience store co-owner.

Radio station WWJ and television stations WJBK, WDIV and WXYZ report that the man in his 50s was locking up the Stars Liquor store late Sunday night when he was killed. Police say it was a robbery attempt.

Michigan State Police are assisting River Rouge police in the investigation. The store is near the city's border with Detroit.
