SOUTH BEND – Improvements are coming to South Bend's Potawatomi Conservatories but first the growing house has to come down and demolition is currently underway.
Over the summer, the South Bend Common Council voted in favor of $1.2 million in upgrades to the conservatories and greenhouse. The project will also update the heating system and build a new parking lot.
The developer says this project is scheduled to wrap up by late spring.
