LAPORTE COUNTY – A LaPorte County police officer accused of drunk driving pleads guilty to reckless driving.
Anthony Wallace, 45, was stopped by police on November 27. They say he had a .13 blood alcohol level. Wallace told police he had three beers.
La Porte County Sheriff Mike Mollenhauer told a newspaper that Wallace was suspended without pay after his arrest and demoted from captain to sergeant. He will spend six months on probation.
