ELKHART – An Elkhart 14 year old has pleaded guilty to charges of strangulation, child molestation and attempted rape, according to a spokesperson for the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office.
In November two female victims filed a sexual battery report against the boy. The crime happened at two locations: On the 200 block of Indiana Avenue and on the 300 block of Wagner Avenue in Elkhart.
The 14 year old was arrested at another apartment on Wagner Avenue shortly after police say the reports of battery were filed.
WSBT spoke with one neighbor who lives a few doors down from where one of the attempted rapes took place on Indiana Avenue – she said she saw police cars surround the home on the day the crimes allegedly took place.
