The cold temperatures this weekend caused South Bend police to issue an alert about a missing 12-year-old girl on Saturday. On Sunday police said they located the girl safe and without injury.
Aaryonne Agnew was last seen walking north in the 1700 block of Carlisle Street around 12 a.m. Saturday. In a news release, police said the girl had no history of running away and she was not dressed for the conditions.
On Sunday South Bend Officer Marcus Wright said he spotted the girl as she was walking back to her home. She is OK.
