A South Bend police officer is recovering today after his leg was pinned by a car over the weekend.
Sergeant Brian Kendall, who was off-duty at the time, was helping out with a car accident on Portage Saturday when one of the cars moved and he was pinned between two cars.
Kendall's son sent us a photo of his dad in the hospital. He told us his dad is now out of the hospital.
Kendall works as a school resource officer at Riley High School.
