A deadly accident in southwest Michigan involved an MDOT truck.
It happened in Van Buren County Friday near M-51 and Eagle Lake Drive. That's just southwest of Paw Paw.
Police believe 20-year-old Rodolfo Cortez of Decatur lost control and hit the plow truck.
He died from his injuries. The truck driver wasn't hurt.
The crash is under investigation, but police don't believe alcohol was a factor.
The accident closed all lanes of M-51 in the area for several hours.
