Mishawaka's chief of police says he was notified of a discrepancy in the time sheets of Corporal Gregory Carr.
In a letter to the Board of Public Works and Safety, the chief said an audit found Carr had received both compensatory time and overtime pay at the same time.
The chief says an investigation found Carr violated the rules and engaged in immoral conduct and conduct unbecoming an officer.
He's asking the board to suspend Carr without pay and then terminate him after a hearing.
