New details were revealed in court Wednesday in the federal case against Robert Troup, the former Penn-Harris-Madison school janitor accused of hiding a video camera in the boy's swimming pool locker room.
The prosecution is alleging Troup put a camera in the boy's swim team locker room during winter break, in December 2010. In January 2011, two students found the recording device and removed the video recording card.
Fast forward to November 2011.
Students were discussing the Jerry Sandusky case, when a senior swim team member told the coach. The coach asked the student to give him the video card and the coach turned it over to the school resource officer in Nov. 30, 2011.
The prosecution alleges Troup's camera captured images of 43 students walking nude to and from showers; 42 of those students were minors.
