Elkhart County Community Corrections is looking into what happened after an inmate escaped and illegally entered two homes.
Willie Peavy of Elkhart was at the Center for several traffic violations. Peavy got out, but police weren't far behind.
WSBT's Ed Ernstes talked to one homeowner, Betty Stengel, who met up with Peavy face-to-face. Stengel says Peavy ran through the house so fast her dog didn't even have time to bark!
