The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office has now charged two people after an attack on a Mishawaka police officer that left him injured.

Fox says he was questioning five people when19-year-old Kenneth Kunkle punched him several times on top of his bike helmet and pistol-whipped him in the back of his head.

While trying to arrest Kunkel, police say they found a gun on him with two rounds apparently stuck in the chamber.
