Former Warsaw officer Timothy Whitright, 29, has received an 18-month prison sentence for sexually touching a 13-year-old girl in November of 2010.
Court documents show Whitright was driving the girl home at the time and touched her under her clothes.
He also asked her to perform sex acts on him – which she did not do. He told her not to tell anyone, and that no one would believe her because “he’s a cop and [she] was a kid.”
The court sentenced him to one and a half years in prison, with 6 months suspended and that has to be served on probation.
Whitright served on the Warsaw Police Department and at one point worked at the high school.
