A two-car collision at the S.R. 15/U.S. 20 intersection injured four children, all passengers in one car.

An Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department crash release stated cars driven by Laura Ryan, 28, of LaGrange, and Jacob Mitchell, 30, of Mishawaka, collided just after 5 p.m. Friday.

The four children were in Ryan’s car.

Airlifted was Alia Villalobos, 9, of LaGrange, for treatment of head trauma.

Other children taken by ambulance to Goshen General Hospital were George Ryan, 7; Darwin Villalobos, 2; and Kitana Ryan, 9. Police said the 2 year old was in a child restraint seat and the other children were seat belted, as was the driver.

Mitchell, who also was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, police said.
