Another road project, this one on the U.S. 20 Bypass (St. Joseph Valley Parkway), has been delayed.
Work was scheduled to begin Wednesday on the south side between Michigan and Miami streets. It's part of the U.S. 31 Major Moves project.
Passing lanes in both directions will close sometime next week while crews build the new Fellows Street bridge over the bypass.
Work is expected to be done at the end of October.
When WILL the project start? Hopefully next week, Indiana Department of Transportation officials say.
