Plymouth native Morgan Uceny is now just one solid finish away from reaching the Olympics.
Uceny needed a top-five finish Friday in the semifinals of the 1500 meter Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon in order to qualify for Sunday's finals.
She had absolutely no trouble with that. Not only did Uceny win her heat, but she lead the entire race.
If she finishes in the top three in Sunday night's finals, she'll be headed to her first Olympics.
Former Notre Dame star Molly Huddle has already qualified for the London Games -- in the 5000 meters.
