Speed may have caused crash in Rochester

June 29, 2012|WSBT-TV Report

ROCHESTER – A one-car crash has landed a Rochester man in a Fort Wayne hospital.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department were called Thursday to the 6400 block of W. Olson Rd. in Rochester after a car driven by 45-year-old David Blystone left the road at a curve, hit a utility pole and wound up in the yard of a home.

Blystone was flown by Samaritan to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne with possible head and leg injuries.

It appears speed may have been a factor, and police don’t know if Blystone was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
