Mishawaka Police say the 22-year-old man who was pulled from an apartment complex swimming pool Wednesday evening, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The man's name has not been released, pending family notification.
Emergency crews were sent to 322 Pin Oak Circle just before 6:30 p.m. The man had been pulled from the pool before crews arrived. Officials at the scene told WSBT the man was swimming alone and could have been under water for as much as 20 minutes.
Police and Mishawaka Fire/EMS performed CPR on the man at the scene, trying to revive him.
