BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – It looks like a missing Berrien County man is on the run.

A nationwide felony arrest warrant has been issued for 63-year-old Larry McCoy, who is accused of stealing from Lakeland Health System.

McCoy has worked for Lakeland for some 30 years and was last seen leaving his job on July 19.

Investigators now tell WSBT it appears McCoy is “on the run.”

They say Lakeland Health System is trying to determine how much money McCoy may have stolen. Bank records show only one transaction on his debit card since he took off. It was traced to California, but police don’t know whether McCoy used the card.

Police say McCoy had a clean history until this incident.
