LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - A soldier who lost part of his leg during an attack in Afghanistan says he's sorry for firing a gun at a bar the day before a planned homecoming ceremony in his central Indiana hometown. Organizers planned the ceremony in Lafayette for Sunday's one-year anniversary of the attack that injured 24-year-old Eric Braman and killed two soldiers. That event was canceled after Braman was arrested early Saturday. Police say he fired gunshots into the air and into the ground during an argument outside a Lafayette bar. One man was slightly wounded.

A divided three-judge panel of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati rejected the center's argument in upholding the centerpiece of the law, the insurance requirement.
