ST. JOSEPH - A brother and sister accused in a Berrien County murder case are expected in court on Thursday. The deadly shooting had something to do with a love triangle, according to court documents. 28-year-old Jovan Davis of Benton Harbor is accused of shooting and killing 25-year-old Gary Alilovich earlier this month at a home in the 700 block of Ogden Avenue in Benton Harbor. Police say his sister 19-year-old Ashley Davis of Grand Forks, North Dakota took the gun and hid it. Ashley Davis is charged with assault and accessory after the fact.

Two murder suspects in Benton Harbor were officially charged Tuesday. Brother and sister 19-year-old Ashley Davis of Grand Forks, North Dakota and 28-year-old Jovan Davis of Benton Harbor are both in the Berrien County Jail with a $1 million bond each. They're accused of a fight that lead to a deadly attack that took place at this home in the 700 block of Ogden Avenue over the weekend. Police say 25-year-old Gary Alilovich was shot several times and died. Heather Poe, 35, of Benton Harbor was also shot several times and critically wounded.

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - Two Benton Harbor murder suspects are scheduled to make their first court appearances on Tuesday. 28-year-old Jovan Davis of Benton Harbor and his 19-year-old sister Ashley Davis of Grand Forks, North Dakota are accused of killing 25-year-old Gary Alilovich Friday night. 35-year-old Heather Poe of Benton Harbor was rushed to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph with multiple gunshot wounds, like Alilovich, and was in critical condition. WSBT has learned that Poe has been upgraded to stable.

BENTON HARBOR - The violence in Benton Harbor has been an issue of public concern for a long time. A group of churchgoers came together Sunday on the eve of Martin Luther King Day to pray for the violence to end. About a dozen people showed up for the community prayer in front of Benton Harbor High School. For a small crowd, there was a lot of energy and faith. They may not have been inside a church, but these community members said they could feel God all around them.

One man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after a dispute in Benton Harbor last night. This is the first murder in the city of Benton Harbor since last May. Police say 25-yearold Gary Alilovich was shot several times and died last night when an argument broke out at a home at 791 Odgen around midnight.  Heather Poe, 35, of Benton Harbor is at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph being treated for multiple gunshot wounds. Police say they spoke to the tenant of the house along with other witnesses at the scene who identified a brother and sister who were still inside the residence as suspects -- 28-year-old Jovan Davis of Benton Harbor and 19-year-old Ashley Davis of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

In a phone interview with WSBT News, Tony Saunders shared his background and qualifications for taking the EFM position. WATERVLIET Twp. - Police say an 87-year-old Benton Harbor man died and three others were injured in a Watervliet Twp. crash Thursday. This happened just before 9 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene to find two vehicles upside down on I-94 near exit 41. Police say the crash happened on the west onramp at the top of the hill. According to police, a vehicle driven by Robert McCoy, 87, was rear-ended by Joan Muske, 67, of Watervliet. Muske and her two passengers were taken to the hospital along with McCoy.

That's what the Benton Harbor School superintendent is asking parents after fights between teens have become a problem inside and outside the schools. And we're talking about some big fights.                      It's a story we've been following for months. WSBT's Denise Bohn was live in Benton Harbor Tuesday night and spoke with the superintendent and the city's mayor.

Police say they've had enough of fights in and outside Benton Harbor High School.  There were several fights again in school Monday. A 14-year-old student was arrested for bringing a knife in and making threats. This comes just days after police say they dealt with the largest brawl they'd ever seen. More than 200 kids were involved. WSBT's Denise Bohn reports:
